the topic of search engine optimization and wish to
improve their sites' interaction with both users and

1.SEARCH ENGINE:Yea! it brings lots of traffic to your blog.There are millions of people search in the search engines like Google,Yahoo,msn everyday.So,if your blog has so many good posts and is well indexed by google,etc..you will get a good amount of traffic via search engines.There are a few steps to look at if you want a decent amount of traffic from the search engines like "submitting your blog sitemap to google",yahoo to index you blog pages very quickly.And the other important one is adding meta tags to your blog.If you follow these two simple steps,then you will get a decent traffic(massive traffic if your content is good).
2.Submitting your blog to Blog Directories:You may know this before,submitting your blog to blog directories will bring you a good traffic.
Here is a good list of blog directories(there are so many directories,but the below one's will bring you a good traffic).Most of these blog directories ask you to register before you submit your blog.My suggestion is,create a new email address solely for this purpose so,your personal emails are not flooded with the emails sent by the blog administrators,etc.

I know just enough to help you and that is it. I am not technical. I will not buy an HTML book because I just don't want to spend the few months trying to understand more than I need to. I suggest the same for you. Concentrate on your business and then get these things fixed on your website. I will explain in detail what you need to do. I'd hire an HTML engineer to fix or update a page on my website. They can do in minutes what may take me days. My website was written in open source and is search friendly.
All I am trying to do here is explain how to cause a natural rising in the ranks of your website. This will not get you to number one but it will get it up higher than it is now.The cost is zero..
I call it the sweet spot. All web sites have a sweet spot. it may not be on the first page but it is there. What you do is right click on any web site and move the mouse down the page to the "view Source". Then click on "View Source".
As an example lets go to Southern Living magazine. Here is the link that will open in a separate page. Southern Living Alright now move that page off to the side and near the top where it states SOUTHERN LIVING right click and the mouse down to view page source and click it. Now we can see what they have used for their Meta Tags. You are looking for Meta Name keywords and description. You can see what they use as their keywords. Once you find the sweet spot on any website what I recommend is to right click on that data and paste it to a word or text document. Label the file website keywords. Now what you'll need to do it go to all your competitors and out what their keywords are.
DO NOT PRINT THE ENTIRE FILE you will be horrified to find out it is a trillion pages long. Just copy what I have instructed you to copy and paste in on a document and save it. I copied it to a page then I put a head Southern Living. I go to the next site and on and on and on. Just copy and paste your brains out. Once you have that done next week we go to our next step. Determine your competition keywords and descriptions.

On your check list the one biggest areas that most people do not work on is setting their Meta Tags to correspond to their business profile. Once you have determined the best Meta Tags for your site then you must also use those same words in the readable part of their web site.
This will enable your web site to organically rise in the ranks.
I have checked about two thousand web sites and that is the biggest problem I have seen. Misspelled Meta Tags or just errors in general. Too many keywords and or key phrases in the Keyword or description area. The keywords and or the description is limited to a certain number of words. The problem is that you want to maximize the number of yet do not exceed them number allowed. Exceeding actually does more harm to your ranking then not using as many as you are allowed.
Google has fabulous opportunities available to everyone. You do not have to be educated on it but you need to know the basis or you need to be friends with your web designer.

I noticed if I list an item using some of the description
It seemed to me if I wanted to sell HP parts it would actually be more of a benefit to state rather than HP parts a part off a laser printer in this case that was replaced more often. Once my future customer visited my website it was then my turn to sell them on using me.
What I mean is that I am more than just a website with pretty pictures I am a sales man and I have what people are looking for. Great attitude, honest and competitive pricing. Most people do not want to spend the least they want the "thank you sir" attitude. They the customer wants to know that you really appreciate the opportunity that they have given you by picking you out of 135,000,000 other websites to make their purchase.
This is what it is all about. it is the opportunity that the internet has given us.
So I listed HP Ethernet boards as one of my next keywords. I had that term bundled with six
other terms and payed my money and waited. Number 4 right behind HP. Results 1 - 10 out of 2,810,000 for HP Ethernet boards. This one listing brought a
fabulous customer about a year ago. Five years I am still there. First page.
Anyway I suggest everyone that is reading my blog to begin now finding your keywords
and or key phrases. 19 Keywords and a maximum of 249 characters in your description.

I typed in Computer store and wrote down all the business names that came up. The top three was the extent of my concern.
I wrote down every word in my spiral ringed notebook as I thought of them. At night I searched the terms on the web and wrote down how many matches and the business names of the first three. I checked both Google and Yahoo. I did this for weeks trying to determine my keywords.
Those business names that were in the pay per click area really are of no concern. They have a budget and when they hit their maximum they drop off. The next month they are back.
It is the companies that are in the natural lists that are your competition.
I had five pages of terms and notes next to them all. How many matches.

I began to search for a domain a second website. I took out a notebook and went to Network Solutions to begin my work. I wrote down computer store then computer lab then computer knowledge then computer Atlanta then on and on and on. Always use one notebook so that you do not duplicate your effort. A few days later I returned to my search and on the web I saw super computer warehouse and thought hmm.
I began the computer this and computer that and found that computer parts warehouse was available. I right then and there took out my American Express and bought computerpartswarehouse.com.
I still own it and it is at this time set up to be a blog. Here it is. http://computerpartswarehouse.blogspot.com/
Cost me $10.00 for year. I then moved on and began checking all the combinations I could think of concerning the same groups words.
An hour later I had IBM parts warehouse.com

I then reduce that page and type in Go-Daddy Coupons. I read the current deals then reduce that page and begin filling my shopping cart. Once I see that I am up to about $30 to $75.00 dollars I reduce the page and look at the coupon page. I copy the coupon numbers into the spot at the bottom where it states "update" shopping cart and I work this for five minutes until I have it at the lowest price I can get it.
Bought ten more domains yesterday (March 1st, 2010) and used the coupons off fat wallet to save 20%. Brought my cost down to $6.99 per URL for a year. Not bad since most people pay what it totals.
I do not request anything else. I do not care. I go for one year and let people see that I beat them to it. I don't want email and that's that. I pay them then let them sit.
A couple of months later I thought when the elections were coming up hmm. I found Electionsnationwide.com then I bought a group using those combinations of words.
Three years earlier I bought http://whostandsforwhat.blogspot.com/ and then I bought a domain names so I have .info .org .biz and so on.
I finished the group with http://www.worldwhostandsforwhat.com/ and so on.
Alright I made an error. No one is perfect darn it. I tried to rocket my website to number one a few months ago. Yes a few months ago. It had to appear somewhere and I wanted to to go to the top as everyone.
I made a tiny error and sent World Who Stand for What.com up. Well I failed to add the plural the tiny s at the end of the word stand. So a tiny error. Well if you search on world who stands for what my website is on the first page out of 30 million or so. I forget you can look if your curious. My world who stands for what is sitting a tad bit lower on the page of course it is a different search and the correct one is down a few lines but on the first page and this is out of 303 million. Now I think it is the other way around but I messed up anyway.
I just checked and mine is number two regardless of which term you search.
I have a hundred domain names. I have tried the parking method to make money and I haven't made a dime so I don't let them do anything with them either. I let them sleep.
I tried to buy special ones that have to do with computers such as data recovery service Los Angeles or data recovery service Atlanta, The ones that have to do with DUI Atlanta, IRS and tax attorney I'd rather not those people come to my website Just kidding I'd rather stick to the computer or Political ones or even looking for Donate your car.
Buying domains, domain search, domain appraisals, domain parking, domain email, domain parking, domain websites, buying domains and selling domains just be careful.
I have them at yahoo small business and at Network Solutions. Go-daddy has a deal where as if you move your domains to Go-Daddy they take them for $6.99 and extend the annual date by a year and include it in the price. So I would buy them where ever and just before the year is up move them to Go-Daddy for $6.99 and they will give a year for that price. I do not think there is a better deal out there for a year. Remember to check the coupon page just before you agree to the charge.
In summary use one notebook spiral ring so you can not remove pages. Always use this one notebook. One section all your search words.
Ask a friend or wife anyone to tell you words of how they would find your business on the web. They will think of terms that you never will. Write them down.

I began to search for a domain a second website. I took out a notebook and went to Network Solutions to begin my work. I wrote down computer store then computer lab then computer knowledge then computer Atlanta then on and on and on. Always use one notebook so that you do not duplicate your effort. A few days later I returned to my search and on the web I saw super computer warehouse and thought hmm.
I began the computer this and computer that and found that computer parts warehouse was available. I right then and there took out my American Express and bought computerpartswarehouse.com.
I still own it and it is at this time set up to be a blog. Here it is. http://computerpartswarehouse.blogspot.com/
Cost me $10.00 for year. I then moved on and began checking all the combinations I could think of concerning the same groups words.

friend build your website for you. The visitors will see it and think
your on a shoestring. Spend at least $2,000.00 on a good website.

me $2500.00 and lasted eight years. The next was E-Commerce in
an Open OS format and it is search friendly. This is the one
I still use and it has lasted eight years. I doubt I would ever change

business charge higher prices yet a small company charges much

I know of a small business that has just started and they are already in financial trouble. Not managing sales, advertising and they have no Internet website as of yet.
