Computer Recycle R2 and ISO Certifications

I run into various people and those I like and believe in I try my best to guide business they're way. On a few posts I have written here and on other blogs I own I tell the story of buying a used Honda CRV in Atlanta. Now I'm shifting gears to Computer Recycle R2 and ISO Certifications.

I have met a consultant that prices are super reasonable and the process is on steroids. In the past in Atlanta R2 certified consultants are everywhere and the prices range from $7000.00 to $20,000.00. The process takes from three months to one year.

You have to weigh everything in and weigh everything out. You must account for all the weight. Mainly proving by record keeping that all went to buyers or re-sellers or sold on Ebay but not in a landfill. that is pretty much it. The  ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 is pretty much the health and safety. Use your legs not your back when picking something up. Steal toe shoes and signs everywhere. Safety kits here and there. 

A computer that sells to brokers or on Ebay buys 250 desktops or laptops or routers or dell phones whatever. Weigh all the equipment in. Sell anything off the two pallets of gear in that package then weigh what left. So let's say 1650.00 pounds in. Shipped a desktop sold on Ebay weighed 14 pounds. Subtract 14 lbs from the 1650 pounds and you still have 1636 pounds of potential electronic waste.

Cost of a Consultant Somewhere between $7000.00 and $20,000.00
Cost of inspection, audits and first year dues. $6,000.00
Time the entire process takes. 90 days to 365 days.

I can get it done for you for a reasonable price. Depends on how many employees and how big your building is. If you are a small business two employees and under two thousand square feet I'm guessing the consultants fees will be about $14,000.00 and these people will get it done in 90 days. The 14 grand is for the consultant. The dues and fees will still be about six grand.

Yahoo just Makes me Mad

So, Yahoo in there effort to protect us we must now turn on our 
cell phone to log in. I do not want to turn on my phone to get a
text message to access my  email. the option to enter my 
password the just want me to use my cell and I am not going to 
do it.

I am OK now with the Yahoo two step process works great the same 
on my Ebay account, Paypal Account, FB works great.

Sorry I wasted your time telling you this but FB and Yahoo just 
piss me off. Get on with it and let me access it. Use my ip to 
verify it is me. I type in the floating letters then they ask me to 
check my phone and they is just no way around it.

May 20, 2018: On my way home from my office and I get a message from Yahoo. Are you trying to log into your Yahoo email account? YES or No? I pull over and the message is gone. Funny! Someone had my user name and probably password but once they entered my user name and clicked the page to enter the password Yahoo sends a text. You then click either Yes or No. The intruder or POS doesn't know this is going to happen. Once the user name is entered then the second you click the "next" button to enter the password the text is instantly sent. The intruder or POS freaks and deletes the page. Game over. Stopped dead in their tracks. Awesome.

Ultra-thin Pocket Mini Credit Card Mobile Phone

Reading about alternates to a well known e commerce website I clicked on the links and checked them out. On one I searched cell phones to determine if I could find a seller of the LG product types maybe at a lower price. I then stumbled on this. A credit card sized mobile phone. This one is particular works on the T-Mobile network. At $29.00 including shipping I may buy one and if it works then we are golden.

At $29.00 as just a cell phone and it breaks I really won't care I'll buy another. You check it and even though this may not be for everyone it sure beats the hell out of paying $500 to $800.00 over time for a cell phone.

Well maybe I just didn't know what to search. I guess I've been caught up in the cell phone do everything mode for years. I would like to find a super low priced cell phone maybe priced at $45.00 that had a great camera and 3G as well as a hotspot capability. This post is I guess for those of us that never even knew this was going on.

Cell phones have turned into remote TV remotes, Video players, games players, camera's, email systems. If you need just a cell phone to do what your old land line did which is to allow us to talk to anyone we please without of the other capabilities then this may be an answer,

Email Spam and Unwanted Emails

Over time you find a website that is interesting and you subscribe. Do It Yourself or automobile news, bands, clothing, shows and plays and do good groups and OMG. Vacation cruises or places to visit during the summer or where to grow a garden or fish. Movies and technical news and well this and that. Kim got a butt implant and her ass sticks out as much as her daughters. The list goes on and on.

I am so tired of the emails pouring in daily that just seems like a waste of time. I could take reading what excites them and they think for some unknown reason that they need to share with me. Once a week.

I would rather them send me a summary once a month or a few times a year. Every day every week well go away. I am a non technical human. I figured out how to "block" the emails. It is awesome I'll not check my email during the evening and in the morning nothing has come to me.

I no longer want to read about the Costco Auto program. Don't want to read about the local weather alerts. It is hot and not going to rain I already know that. All the emails I used to get are like one of my friends on FaceBook. This lady wants to share and share OMG stop it. She is a nice lady but I don't want to see an update about what thrills her. I had to unfollow her on FB. I then went thru my FB people and began the I don't want to be notified about crap from anyone.

Three months ago I began my blocking campaign. Skip my in box and move straight into my trash can. No longer hanging out in my spam file. I have stopped looking in my spam folder because spam just sucks. I just click the little button and it all goes away.

Now every few days I send myself an email just to make sure the system is working. Just seems somewhat sad. Almost pathetic.

To tell people how to save money buying from Off lease only in Orlando and posting prices is not going to work. I am not updating the prices to stay current. 

Check prices for the used vehicle in your city that you are interested in.  Write down the year of the vehicle make and model, options, mileage and price. Ask if the dealer fee is included. In Atlanta typically is $700.00 to $900.00 on top of the internet price you are seeing. Offleaseonly.com

I have the link in the above line set to the Orlando, Florida location. If the location isn't right make sure you are looking in Orlando.
Price airline tickets one way to Orlando airport look at Delta Air lines. Do not factor what your vehicle is worth. Sell your vehicle locally to a private party.

Examples from August 2017.

On the internet a 2017 Mercedes Benz C Class C300 Sport 4Matic AWD in Atlanta for $38,328.00 on the other hand 437 miles away you can get the exact vehicle for $34k. Four thousand dollars less. I guess if you don't want more car for your money or maybe you don't care about saving money then go local and piss away your money.. 

2015 Lexus GX 460 $44,414.00 current price in Atlanta at a dealership and Off lease Only doesn't.
2015 Lexus GX 460 $37,999. $7000.00 difference.  The Atlanta dealership no doubt charges between 599.99 to $900.00 dealer fees and Off lease Only does not charge a dealership fee. Off lease only charges $20.00 over the listed price on their website. This is for a tag transfer. I chose to pay tax in my state when I got back and needed a tag. 90 days later.

2014 Honda CR-V EX-L AWD  Atlanta $22,000.00
Off lease Only in Orlando is $17,010.00 drive out price. Five grand savings. Yes you have to fly to orlando. No you do not have to spend the night. Call 1-855-975-7950 ask to speak to a sales person in Orlando, Florida. Tell the person in orlando you are an out of state buyer.  

September 17th, 2016 my wife and I went to the Off Lease Only in Orlando, Florida. I had reserved a 2014 Honda CRV EX with 21,000 miles on it. Awesome deal. The sales person at Ed Voyles Honda on highway 41 in Smyrna, GA would not match the price. 

Too bad so sad I at that moment knew off lease only was the only place I was going to get a deal on the CRV.

Taxes and tag I will take care of in Atlanta. Consider flying to Orlando Friday night or early Saturday morning. They will come and pick you up at the airport. Be at the Off Lease Only first thing in the morning on a Saturday with a cashiers check in hand. Once you are done then head back to Atlanta. The drive home was six hours on a Saturday.

Lastly off Lease Only.com never asked me to write this story They wouldn't give me a discount what they did was save me money and that is good enough for me.

2014 Honda CRV EXL Used For Sale

I normally don't do this but I am looking to buy a used 2012 or 2013 Honda CRV EXL black on black. The best selling SUV could have navigation or not. It can also have AWD all wheel drive or not. I am interested in a low mileage under 35,000 miles with no accidents on its history.

In Atlanta Georgia this vehicle with the specifications that I am looking for are offered by dealers at about $19,889.00 to $23,000.00.

I use cargurus and a couple other cell phone apps to alert me at the lowest price in Atlanta with exactly what I am looking for. Car price alert the program sends me an email.

Once you click the vehicle in the app on your cell or laptop you have the option to see more about the vehicle. Doing this another tab is available which is price history. In Atlanta and surrounding area's and I now feel sure all over the United States the following will be revealed. The selling dealer raises and lowers the price all the time. In my situation it has been done twice. The price went up $1400.00 hours before I arrived at the dealership. Two days later it dropped again $1500.00. The first time it dropped I was there on the property with hours and was informed it had sold. The next time the price had risen up $1400.00. they explained to me I was nuts. This exact vehicle VIN number matches has been on the same lot in Duluth GA for 268 days. That is crap. 

Now looking at the price history I can see they dropped the price well below market brought in the buyers then a jacked that puppy up above market. This actually is bait and switch. Looking that term on the internet will give you this definition. the action (generally illegal) of advertising goods that are an apparent bargain, with the intention of substituting inferior or more expensive goods.

CarGurus allows individuals to list their cars on the website for free. I listed my Honda and received over fifty inquiries. Sold it within five days.

Anyway If you are in the southern part of the United States well for what you'll save anywhere in the United States. I would like you to visit this website and look at the prices. The prices are awesome but you need to listen and watch their video's.  The price listed plus. This dealer charges Florida tax which is 6%. They also will charge a portion of your state tax which is 2.5%. lastly they charge $20.00 temporary tag. That is it. No transportation fees. No dealer fees.  Pay for the vehicle and drive home. I believe this one post will hurt the Atlanta used car business and increase whom I am telling you about. I am only doing this because I am pissed off at this dealership which I will not name. All used vehicle buyers in the Southern States will be excited to see this and well stop the madness. Groupon For International Traveling

Groupon offers deals all over the world. In your home town as well as in a distant location where you and your family are traveling on vacation.

A few things you must do.

First register on the website where you are traveling. If you are vacationing in the same country then you are fine. Traveling to a foreign country then you must register.

Finding the Groupon website in a foreign country is somewhat difficult. I have requested that Groupon add various locations and the proper link to get awesome deals where ever anyone is vacationing. Using Google Chrome I'd suggest translate to your language so your not looking up everything in Google Translate.

Windows 10 or Chrome is Locked Call Now

I am so sick and tired of this type of crap. I would think someone out there can call the phone number and get these people to just go get a real job. Making license plates where ever they are. Maybe Microsoft maybe the department of justice.

It did take me a while to figure out how to copy it. The small print page came up  and using Windows 10 I was able to open  word. I then put the blank page on the bottom bar. I copied the website crap as shown below then dragged it down to the bar over the icon for and the new sheet I had opened was there. I released  the key and alas there it is.

I did change my IP address on the document.
I am curious is the person that offers a solution at a cost a real Microsoft-Certified technician if he is not then this is fraud. Microsoft should be mad. Well hopefully for all of us that have ever had to deal with this the problem may soon be gone. 

I would like to state that if encounter this page and the stupid beeping sound then do this.

It is kind of funny that I cheer this group on but I do.

In a different idea lets all do something at the exact same time all around the world. All time zones at the exact second that we declare we go to one website and we all fill out an inquiry form. We will shut the website down in seconds. Say 4.5 million click on the website at the exact minute. I set the date hour, minute and second and you tell your friends and everyone everywhere within your social circle and on and on. We determine the best time and set it.

Dreaming what the power of the people really means.

They will and are going to do the following.
Knock the  ISIS  network off line.
Messages will not be real and they will begin to second guess themselves.

Maybe just maybe they will get the  ISIS  members to kill each other.

I think they will be able to transfer the  ISIS  money to the people that need it.

They have declared war on  ISIS .

Craigslist Scam 2016

The thieves are out there everywhere.

If the caller is in a different state that the check is from and the
destination is in yet another state then 100% it is a scam. Look up the 
bank that the check was written from and ask if the funds are available.
If not then it is a scam.

Look the cell phone number on the internet. read comments. 

How can you stop them? The best way is to remember this if it is too good 
to be true then it is not true. List something for sale on line say on Craigslist 
the the thieves are looking for you.

If you allow the potential buyers to contact you using a method such as email 
or text then you have given them an open door.  I think allowing this is OK but
 understand the thieves are out there.

So they agree to buy whatever but they are "out of town" "very busy" " and they
are not local to you and they do not have a friend or anyone that can come and
see it and pay you cash.

So you and the thief exchange emails and you agree to sell it at a price. You then 
are asked to box it which you do because you know it is sold. Now due to them 
being busy they tell you they are in a hurry and will mail you a check. A money
order. You agree.

You give them an address and in a week or so the check arrives. US Mail
Priority mail.

The check is made out to you and is for more than you asked for. You text 
the person or email them and tell them that the amount is far more than you
requested.  The thief merely say well I  have a mover or a shipper and the over
payment is for you to send to them so that they can come after the item.

A Recap: Agreed price $400.00 Check amount received is $2300.00. Deposit
the check and your bank account has $2700.00 more in it. You owe the mover 
or shipper $1900.00. 
You go to the bank and get a $1900.00 cashiers check then you mail it to the 
agreed address. In two weeks more or less the check sadly bounces. You
have sent the money out and you have lost between $1,000.00 and in this 
case $1900.00. 

Maybe the agreed amount is $350.00 and the check is for $1200.00 and you 
mail them a check for $950.00 doesn't matter the scam is the same. Your 
money is gone and they are sitting fat and happy.

You don't tell anyone because you feel like an idiot. A fool. Don't feel bad
it happens  to the best of us. 

Please please please be careful this just happened to me. I listed something for 
sale and went thru all this and the check was for $1500.00 more than the agreed 
price. They told me if I didn't mail the check to the mover then they would call the
police or maybe even the FBI. I took that thought and called the local FBI. Told 
them the story and they told me to shred the check. Please please tell your 
mom and dad or brother or sister or friend's. They may be in the middle of doing
this.

I looked up the FBI office in a different state. Found a name of an agent and
the office address this agent works out of. I asked the scammer to mail the 
check to my step father. I lied oops. my bad. I guess the scammer mailed the
fraudulent check to the agent. The email address on google no longer works
as well as the phone number.

I know of a small business that specializes in point of sale repair. I offered to help them reach the first page on Google. The owner a business friend of mine politely told me that the lady that built their website was handling it. Works for me I concluded.

My idea was then I'd work an agreement with them that I would get a commission on all new business I sent them. The owners agreed to a percentage of any new customers I brought them. Now I can make some extra money and not do much more than build a blog and be the first point of contact.

The money was sitting there and I had to figure it out. I bought a simple domain name. Google doesn't like direct named blogs or websites. Typically they kick them down below the first fifteen pages to keep from this being the norm. Google wants you to pay for keywords to lift you to the top pages. Google wants us to use meta tags and keywords and our description as well as content to naturally lift a website to the first page. I can accept that.

I bought a domain name at Google or Go-Daddy. I spend ten dollars.

I go for a direct match. A direct match is search term that is what you and or I are using to find whatever we are looking for on the internet.

As an example copy the term below into a new Google search window and search.

Look for http://mobilemechanicatlanta.com/

home gutter cleaning atlanta
www.atlantaguttercleaning.com/

Those my friends are direct matches.

Someone wants to pay me money and use POPMoney.

April 14th at 2PM I began to figure out what in the world is this all about.

Update: File Hippo Yes I'll down load a program but it is sad how they are screwing their

biggest fans. US.   Piss on File Hippo. 

Norton all versions does not find the internet attacks nor does it stop where ever it is or was on my laptop. Norton paid in full didn't find it and the money paid was refunded. McAfee didn't find it.

So I burned a few copies of some files and wiped the drive. 

File Hippo or I guess FileHippo was introduced it me a few years ago. A great website to download software. 

They offer a program that automatically searches your device and updates it

Using my laptop I installed the program months ago and once in a while updates occurred and then a week ago I begin getting pop ups. Piss on FileHippo  Crap like warning your system may be infected call 1-800-Infected. These people are in some foreign land and they offer to log onto your system and repair it. 

Yesterday I called 1-800-your-dicked and asked the Windows (crap) technician to give me his checking account and password and let me in there to look for issues. He refused.

I then went back to File Hippo and down loaded a program to remove the spy ware off my laptop. Worked like a champ but lost one file and ultimately I'll end up loosing everything due to forced re-installation of Windows 7.

Someone made a comment and states that people like me are lazy. Going to one website that offers a one stop shop to get free software and updates. This person is an idiot. 

Occasionally I type in the name of the website or company then follow it with the word review.

Microsoft Windows 7 defender will not find the File Hippo spyware!
McAfee doesn't see them.

I will from this point on visit their website for the names and reviews of the software but I will never ever trust them again.
